There is a reason I haven\’t been posting here in awhile. That is because there have not been many green plays at all. I mean the market has been decimated. I have been short for awhile and have had amazing trading days off this volatility and you can follow what I\’m doing at StockRake.com. However, the clean energy sector has been terrible and there just hasn\’t been any plays. In fact, I thought FSLR was a short on StockRake on September 9th.

Now after this second huge drop in the market, I want to take a look at my scans….

The only two stocks that look like they could make a move here higher are:

FTEK and CREE.

The market is crap here, so be careful.

-Peerless Mfg. Co. Awarded Two Contracts With a Combined Value of $2.8 Million for Separation and Filtration Equipment

Peerless Mfg. Co., through its subsidiaries, engages in the design, engineering, manufacture, and sale of products used for the abatement of air pollution, and for the separation and filtration of contaminants from gases and liquids. The company operates in two segments, Environmental Systems and Separation Filtration Systems. The Environmental Systems segment offers environmental control systems, which are used for air pollution abatement. Its principal product, Selective Catalytic Reduction System, is used to convert nitrogen oxide emissions from exhaust gases caused by burning hydrocarbon fuels, such as coal, gasoline, natural gas, and oil, into nitrogen and water vapor. Environmental Systems segment also offers systems to reduce other pollutants, such as carbon monoxide and particulate matter. This segment sells its products to power producers, power developers, engineering and construction companies, heat recovery steam generator manufacturers, boiler manufacturers, refineries, and petrochemical plants.
The Separation Filtration Systems segment provides separators or filters that are used for various purposes in cleaning gases and liquids as they move through piping systems. These products are used primarily to remove solid and liquid contaminants from natural gas, as well as saltwater aerosols from combustion air intake on shipboard gas turbine and diesel engines. Its separators are also used in nuclear power plants to remove water from saturated steam. This segment offers its products to gas producers, gas gathering, and transmission and distribution companies; chemical manufacturers and oil refineries; manufacturers of compressors, turbines, and nuclear and conventional steam generating equipment; and shipbuilders. The company sells its products worldwide through independent representatives, as well as directly to customers through internal sales force. Peerless Mfg. was founded in 1933 and is headquartered in Dallas, Texas.
